If you tuned in to my last post, you know that Jessica & Ben have been some of my most faithful clients from engagement and wedding photos, to maternity & newborn photos for their first son Hudson, to mommy & son photos, and now to the New Life Collection with their new little one Connor! I recently posted this round of maternity photos for them, and baby Connor made his arrival on October 14! I’m so thankful for these friends, and so happy to be able to capture so much of their lives for them and preserve these memories forever.
“Jessica & Ben decided to treasure these moments as much as possible by investing in the New Life Collection. Since that includes maternity, newborn, 6-month, and 1-year photos, I’m already looking forward to our upcoming sessions! The photo book they receive at the end will be such a beautiful way to look back on baby Connor’s first year of life with photos from all four of these sessions. … ”
“Sarah and Colin go to the same church as we do, and it has been so fun getting to know them this year! Their daughter Ada is basically the cutest with her big blue eyes and curious nature. We spent a lovely Sunday morning before church together in Anderson Point Park, and if I remember correctly, the weather was really nice for late June! I’m excited to continue spending time with this beautiful family, especially as Isaac gets older and he and Ada can play together. :)”
“As I sit here with a 37 weeks + 3 days baby belly, it’s so fun looking back through sessions I’ve done with little ones! Watching my clients interact with their kids makes me so excited to get to know our baby, play with them, care for them, and show them the world. I’ve been friends with Heaven & Russell for quite some time (just about 20 years knowing Heaven!), and it has been such an honor to get to know their daughter Phoebe and capture the first year of her life! …”
“Today I’m sharing a session I did in May near Baltimore, Maryland with some friends from college! Lauren and my husband Andrew were in the social work program together and did many group projects together back in the day. I was really excited when she said they were interested in getting photos before Lucas’ first birthday – It was the perfect excuse to go up to see them! We met at Centennial Park for the session, and that place was HOPPING with people running, having picnics, playing with kids, and even doing some juggling practice …”
“I was dreading being in pictures from the photoshoot for our daughter’s first birthday because I’m not usually comfortable getting my picture taken. By the end of the photoshoot I was so glad I decided to have my husband and me in pictures. It was so much fun to play with our daughter and have candid photos taken, and when it was time to pose I felt so comfortable because of Kelly’s direction and laid back personality. I can’t wait to have more pictures taken by her in the future!” – Alison
Earlier this year I got to capture some portraits of a fun & sweet boy and his family as he was about to celebrate his first communion – meet Hunter! … We met at their church, the Catholic Community of St. Thomas More, and I was so thankful to see allll the beautiful natural light that their sanctuary has! I also love how little time it took for Hunter’s fun personality to start shining through. 🙂 Gotta have some funny faces mixed in with the serious ones for Mom!
Allow me to introduce you to Jayne, Michael, Colin, and Mary Kate! Jayne and Michael had the last-minute thought to get some photos taken while their adult children were in town over the holidays last year, and Jayne wasn’t sure she’d be able to find anyone to help them out before Colin and Mary Kate headed back home to NYC. I am so thankful that she found me on Yelp and that we got to enjoy a session together on New Year’s Eve!
