Hello, friends!

As I sit here with a 37 weeks + 3 days baby belly, it’s so fun looking back through sessions I’ve done with little ones! Watching my clients interact with their kids makes me so excited to get to know our baby, play with them, care for them, and show them the world.

I’ve been friends with Heaven & Russell for quite some time (just about 20 years knowing Heaven!), and it has been such an honor to get to know their daughter Phoebe and capture the first year of her life! They decided to invest in the New Life Collection, which includes 4 sessions (maternity, newborn, 6 month, 1 year), 10 prints with each session, and a photobook with photos from all across Phoebe’s first year of life. I HAVE LOVED THIS SO MUCH, because – surprise, surprise – babies don’t stay little! Phoebe has changed so much since she was born, and it’s been so special capturing all of these moments and milestones before they’re a thing of the past.

We met at JC Raulston Arboretum for the session one morning, which was great since their newborn and 6-month sessions were at their home! It was also perfect with all the greenery and flower blooms, since Heaven is a biologist and is ALL into this stuff 🙂

Phoebe’s cute expression in the next photo is thanks to wanting another toy of hers that I was holding. 😉

For real – look at all the beautiful green! Please also note the photo of Phoebe checking out the tree bark (in true biologist fashion), and I LOVE the other upcoming photo of Russell holding Phoebe upside-down – what a CUTE smile!

These interactions between Heaven and Phoebe are also SO cute!

After I took these next two photos, Heaven & Russell told me that’s the longest she’d ever stood independently before! I’m so excited we captured that moment – and doesn’t she look so proud of herself?!

And here she is, checking out the flowers – also in true biologist fashion. Now Heaven’s the one who looks so proud 😉

I lovingly refer to this next photo as, “Are YOU – talking to ME?”

GAH… WHAT. A. CUTIE!!

As I mentioned above, this sweet little family received 10 prints with each session (40 prints total, at sizes of their choosing!) and a photobook with photos from all four sessions. I have loved providing all this artwork to them so they don’t have to decide what to go print later and worry about doing it all themselves!

Thank you so much Heaven & Russell! I so hope to continue more sessions for y’all as Phoebe gets older!
