I’m back from our vacation to Denver, Portland, and Seattle – what a great trip. We enjoyed seeing Red Rocks Amphitheater, the High Desert, the Columbia River, the Pacific Ocean, the Space Needle, Pike Place Market, Bainbridge Island…! So many sights! We also saw friends in each city along the way, went white water rafting outside Denver, and went to a Rockies baseball game and a Mariners baseball game. It was a wonderful trip, and I’m excited to share photos with you all soon! See a few sneak peeks on my social media sites – links at the bottom of this page!
Yesterday I was crazy tired after a red eye flight home – napped once we got back, showered & got ready, went to the school I’ll be teaching at once/week and worked for about 5 hours, then tried to do some things in the afternoon but just couldn’t function and had to nap again, haha! When one of our roommates saw me this morning, she was like, “Wow, you look so much more awake today, it’s incredible!” HA! Clearly I’m more prepared today to really get back to work. 🙂
It’s Thursday, so let’s pick back up on our Throwback Thursday blog series! Today’s feature is all about:
Kellay & Reece –
Raleigh Maternity & Newborn Photography
These gems go to the same church we do, Southeast Raleigh Table. I have loved getting to know them through our missional community (like a small group) and seeing them each week! Kellay is also the administrative assistant at our church and is doing a great job of keeping things rolling for us.
It’s been a pleasure being by their side as their family grew with a little girl, and I’ve loved capturing moments for them as Kellay neared the end of her pregnancy and just a few days after they had Harbor.
These photos are from October 2017 – the newborn photos taken only 2 weeks after the maternity ones!
Their dog Banjo was starting to get curious about Harbor and is so well-behaved to respect boundaries. 🙂
Their living room has the most beautiful natural light, and it was perfect for our morning session!
I love baby Harbor’s expression in this next one!
Ahh.. my heart is melting all over again. Aren’t they such a cute family?!
<3 <3 <3 All the hearts. Thank you so much, Kellay & Reece, for allowing me to step into these precious moments with you and capture them so you have them forever! I’m looking forward to having dinner with y’all next week! 🙂
Itching to see some more newborn cuteness? Check out my post about Jessica & Ben – with their engagement, wedding, maternity, and newborn photos all in one post! Also stay tuned here and on social media, because more photos of adorable babies are on the way soon!
Do you know an expecting momma or someone who would love some laid-back, lifestyle family photos? I love capturing authentic moments of families in their homes, and portraits & fun at a park are also great too! Let me know if you or someone you know would like some photos!
Have a great weekend, and happy August, y’all!
In light & love,
