Gift Certificate Interest

Thank you for being here! Gift certificates for photo sessions and professionally-created photo art make wonderful gifts for family, friends, charity auctions, and more! These are most easily redeemed by people local to the Raleigh, NC area unless other arrangements are to be made.

Individual sessions paid for with gift certificates also contribute to providing a pay-what-you-can session for someone who typically wouldn’t be able to afford professional photography. Read more about this on our Welcome page and in FAQs. Thank you for your contribution!

Wondering what’s included and when the recipient can use it? This is what the gift certificates look like, with the product credit numbers changing based on how much the purchaser invests. Investment amounts begin at $525, which is the cost of one hour-long session and two $200 pieces of custom photo art. Please click on one of the images to view it larger.

Value of Gift Certificate

With each value listed, the recipient receives a higher product credit to order two or more pieces of photo art. These begin at $200 each, as included in the minimum $525 investment. For example, if you invest $925, the recipient would have their session and order $800 worth in products: two $400 products, products at $500 and $300, products at $600 and $200, or another combination to purchase more than 2 products. Recipients may also choose to invest some of their own money to order photo art valued above the value of the gift certificate. Please note that 7.25% NC state and local sales tax will be added to your gift certificate invoice.

I understand that the gift certificate expires one calendar year after its purchase, no matter when I give it to its recipient. I understand that Light Creative, LLC will do its due diligence to contact gift certificate recipients who have not scheduled their session, but that no refunds will be given for any unclaimed gift certificates during or after the 1 year redemption time frame.
