Hello everyone!
As is the theme for the whole year, it seems, time is flying and we’re halfway through November. At several points during this year, I’ve been able to spend some time at A Place at the Table, enjoy the community they curate in their café, and capture the beauty happening all around me. I LOVE this partnership, and love all that they’re doing to make fresh, healthy meals accessible to everyone.
They had originally planned their annual fundraiser earlier this fall, but Hurricane Florence came through and everyone’s plans went out the window. They rescheduled to early November, and there was still such a great turnout! Such a great turnout, in fact, that they raised $40,000 from this ONE event!! This money goes a long way to support their mission, and it’s Y’ALL who made that happen. Great job everyone!
I was elated to offer a photography session + photo art as part of the silent auction, and I also got to photograph the event – spending the evening with so many people who keep APATT rolling day in & day out!
Enjoy the photos, and if you’d like prints of any of them, head over to the store gallery here! Don’t miss Capen in the first photo! 😉
Thanks for taking a look! If you saw yourself in the photos and would like that photo, email me for a downloadable file and/or buy a print here!
I love A Place at the Table’s pay-what-you-can system so much, that I’ve overhauled my pricing structure and created a pay-what-you-can system for Light Creative! More details are coming to the website soon, but people who are interested in sessions get the details now… contact me if you’d like a pay-what-you-can session, too!
I hope y’all have had a joyful week despite all the rain in Raleigh, and I’ll catch you back here soon!
In light & love,
Kelly
