You’ve made it – HAPPY FRIDAY! I’m getting in the Christmas spirit with our house all decorated, and now we just need to get our icicle lights put up outside. We wanted to get it done before now, but things have been busy busy… I have a sneaky suspicion that you may be able to relate!
Today I want to share some precious photos from another one of my November mini-sessions. Get this: Jessica came 3 HOURS down from VIRGINIA for this 20-minute session! WHAT?! Now that is dedication to her family photographer. <3
You may have seen Jessica and Ben before, since I’ve taken their engagement, wedding, and newborn photos as well. See some photos from those special moments here! It’s hard to believe that Hudson is almost TWO years old. They’re the couple/family I’ve photographed the most so far, and it warms my heart more than I can express to know that I’ll be photographing them as Hudson grows and they all go through life together.

Unfortunately Jessica’s husband Ben got a last-minute deployment that overlapped our mini-session day, so he wasn’t able to join us. Jessica still wanted to come down with Hudson, though, and I’m so glad they did! Check out this dreamy morning light!
The good news is that Jessica & Ben live near my hometown, so we’re hoping to get some photos of all three of them while I’m home over Christmas – a complimentary mini-session, since Ben wasn’t able to make it the first time & no one’s at fault for that. 🙂
Hudson is seriously the cutest! I’m glad his doggy could join us for the session – even if it got a little smushed sometimes 🙂
I don’t know about you, but these photos make me happy.
Jessica chose an 11×14” gallery image to go along with the 5 prints for her mini-session photo art options, and she said they turned out great! Usually I deliver photo art in person, but these went straight to her since she’s not exactly down the street from me. 🙂
I’m having so much fun getting these pieces of photo art to my clients and seeing how much joy they bring them!
Thank you again for making the long trip down for this, Jess!!
If you enjoyed seeing her photos, don’t miss Melissa & Jonathan’s family photos with their 6-month old!
Interested in a session? My pay-what-you-can photography session structure just went live this week and you can see it here! I strive to serve everyone regardless of means, with the generosity of others. Please reach out if this speaks to you and you’d like to get some pretty pictures!
Thank you again, and I hope you’re getting in the holiday spirit as much as I am! <3
In light & love,
