I’ve started another round of the New Life Collection with Haley & Michael, so let’s catch up on a couple other sessions I’ve had with them! See James’ 1-year session with his grandparents, his full New Life Collection album, their fall family photos with James then as a toddler, + more artwork for their home!

The holidays are full of magic & cheer, but it can also be a really busy season. If you’ve been caught in the hustle & bustle of the season or are just craving some more festivities, here are 4 family-friendly things to put on your calendar! It’s not too late!

“Kristyn was preparing to graduate from NC State University with her Bachelors in Microbiology and Genetics, and she wanted to take some photos with her family to mark this time in history and celebrate her accomplishments. She also wanted to focus on capturing moments with her and the girls – in her words, “They are my inspiration and are what kept me going when I wanted to quit school.” These girls are joy-bringers, motivators, and the best partners on the kitchen dance floor Kristyn could ask for…”

“In case you haven’t already figured it out, they’re a fun, special couple. They met on a DANCE FLOOR, and they do all sorts of outdoorsy things like hiking, kayaking, traveling, and cycling. I think I might have to go adventuring with them sometime! I’m excited to see how baby Bryce fits into their lives – watching soccer & bird watching with his dad, staying active and eating healthy treats with his momma. You’ll get to meet baby Bryce in the next blog post as we continue through the New Life Collection, but first, here are their maternity photos! …”

“KidLab made this New Year’s Eve the most exciting one yet for Light Creative by inviting me to set up a photo booth at the kids’ event at Transfer Co. Food Hall! There were a ton of fun activities happening for the kiddos at Transfer, and people. showed. up. We had hundreds & hundreds of families come through, and I’m so thankful to have met a bunch of them as they got all dressed up & smiled for the camera!”

Becky and Alexan are currently fostering a mama dog and her litter of seven puppies. Becky contacted me with the idea for me to take photos of our baby Isaac with the puppies, and obviously I was all in! They brought the puppies over to our house the day that Isaac turned one month old, and the puppies were three weeks old at the time. 🙂 HELLO, CUTENESS. Watching my clients interact with their kids makes me so excited to get to know our baby, play with them, care for them, and show them the world. I didn’t know much about the organization before the breakfast, but the speakers talked all about the impact this non-profit has on the health of our community members – and let me tell you – it’s a big one. They’re doing good things! …”

“I was dreading being in pictures from the photoshoot for our daughter’s first birthday because I’m not usually comfortable getting my picture taken. By the end of the photoshoot I was so glad I decided to have my husband and me in pictures. It was so much fun to play with our daughter and have candid photos taken, and when it was time to pose I felt so comfortable because of Kelly’s direction and laid back personality.
