“I’m not naturally introspective – it takes a lot of intention for me to sit down, process through present-day life, and reflect on days, weeks, and months past – but I’ve found that doing so helps me honor all that God has done and is doing in my life, in my family, and in this little business of mine! I do some monthly reflecting through writing out my newsletter updates, but now that 2020 is rolling into town, it’s time to do a little summary of 2019. Actually, it’s not little. It’s long. But most of it is photos! Peruse at your own pace!”
“KidLab made this New Year’s Eve the most exciting one yet for Light Creative by inviting me to set up a photo booth at the kids’ event at Transfer Co. Food Hall! There were a ton of fun activities happening for the kiddos at Transfer, and people. showed. up. We had hundreds & hundreds of families come through, and I’m so thankful to have met a bunch of them as they got all dressed up & smiled for the camera!”
“Back in April I was privileged enough to photograph the Healthy Start Breakfast for Alliance Medical Ministry! If you haven’t heard of them, please take a look at their website, read up, and consider supporting them! I didn’t know much about the organization before the breakfast, but the speakers talked all about the impact this non-profit has on the health of our community members – and let me tell you – it’s a big one. They’re doing good things! …”
“None of the wonderful things that happened in 2018 would have been possible without you all (well, and God). I can’t express how much joy I get in my heart from capturing your everyday moments and special events, and it blesses me multiple times over knowing that you get joy from what we create together, too. THANK YOU for a 2018 full of hitting the ground running, building momentum, and doing this darn thing.“
“At several points during this year, I’ve been able to spend some time at A Place at the Table, enjoy the community they curate in their café, and capture the beauty happening all around me. I LOVE this partnership, and love all that they’re doing to make fresh, healthy meals accessible to everyone. … I was elated to offer a photography session + photo art as part of the silent auction at their fundraiser, and I also got to photograph the event – spending the evening with so many people who keep APATT
rolling day in & day out!”
