“I’ve been posting an #amplifymelanatedvoices series on Instagram, Facebook, and Twitter in order to lift up the voices of Black women and men and give them more space to express their thoughts and feelings. It’s been hard for me to find the words to say, but my voice isn’t the one that needs to be heard right now anyway – I want those who follow me to know and understand the raw, authentic feelings of our Black family. Not everyone is on social media, though, so I want to use this additional space to share the stories that people have so graciously been willing to let me share.”
“What do you get for a grandparent who has everything? A PHOTO SESSION! Gathering extended family together to celebrate life & capturing that time with a photographer is a wonderful way to cherish the time you have together and then have photos to look back on that time fondly, forever. Framed photos & gallery images don’t take up any space in your parent’s or grandparent’s home – just that perfect spot on the wall where they’ll see your smiling faces and relive these joyful times when they see the photos each day. …”

WE DON’T TAKE OURSELVES TOO SERIOUSLY. And this is basically my favorite thing. I love capturing joy for people, and it’s even more fun when they throw a funny face out there and just have a good ol’ time with the moments we share together!”
“Amidst the heartwarming wedding days, newborn snuggles, and excitement of graduating, it just seems that I attract people who aren’t afraid to throw a funny face out there or let loose a little. I LOVE IT! Here are some silly and particularly joyful moments from 2015, 2016, and 2017!”
“I’ve taken a lot of photos over the years, but this is a brand new website and this may be your first time learning about my business! That means iiit’s (drumroll please)… catchup time! Every Thursday this summer (through August!) I’m going to be sharing the work I’ve done over the past couple years…”
