Hey friends!

I usually go in chronological order when I have several sessions in the queue waiting to be blogged (and right now I have a lot!), but I just wrapped up the New Life Collection with Jen & Niels and can’t help but share Bryce’s 1 year session!

If you’re new around here, let’s do a little catching up. I met Jen & Niels when I captured their courthouse wedding November 2019, and we began the New Life Collection after that with maternity, newborn, and 6-month photos! I just delivered their album & some photo art gifts for their parents (all with a compilation of photos from each session), and AH, I cannot wait to share those with you soon. What a beautiful way to showcase Bryce’s growth from belly to birthday!

We met at their home for Bryce’s 1-year photo session, which was perfect since it was in January, it was cold, and we could balance our time between being inside and outside.

It got a little chilly and misty outside, so we ventured inside for some photos in the natural light by the window. This is the perfect spot at the front of their home for photos, and we took some newborn photos here just about a year ago, too!

In these next photos, Niels was bouncing him up & down, forward & backward on his knee 🙂 Clearly Bryce enjoyed it!

Seriously, though, these snuggles!! It’s like I can feel the warmth of my own son’s squeezes when I look at these photos 🙂

Wow, what a joy it has been to watch Bryce grow up in this first year and document his growth! Jen & Niels have enjoyed gallery images, prints, image boxes, and a beautiful coffee table album with their photos, and I’ll definitely be sharing more about those options soon, so you know how you could be enjoying & sharing photos of your family, too!
