Hello, friends!
What an honor & a privilege it is to introduce you to Haley & Michael today! Haley and I quickly became best friends when her family moved to my hometown the summer before our senior year of high school. She’s the reason I started going to church & youth group, and I’m so thankful that we kept in touch over the years. She and Michael met while they were in college at William & Mary, and this spring they welcomed their sweet baby into the world!

I helped host their baby shower in Chesapeake, VA (my hometown), and it felt like the perfect time to take some maternity photos, as well! We went to Bells Mill Park one sunny morning. It was bright & breezy as Haley mentioned in her review, but we made the most of it and had the best time together!
You can see the love these two have for each other and for their little “Bean” – so much anticipation to welcome him/her to the family!
Isn’t Haley stunning?! And I love how you can see how happy and excited they were to welcome their sweet baby!
I had to get in a couple photos with Haley too 🙂 Thanks for taking them, Michael! I’m so excited for this family of 3!!
Thank you, Haley & Michael, for letting me capture this sacred time of anticipation for you. <3
Haley & Michael ordered some prints of their maternity photos, and they framed a few of them for their nursery! I love how well they fit in with the cute nursery decor.
And… meet sweet baby James! They welcomed James into their family on April 6, and I am so excited to meet him when I’m able to! <3 Look how cute he is!! He is so, so precious, and they are overjoyed to have him. (Both of these photos were sent to me from Haley!)
Thanks for joining us here today to see their pretty photos! If you’d like to see some more maternity photos, don’t miss Jen & Niels’s photos from the NC Museum of Art. If you’d like to skip ahead to their cute baby, you can see baby Bryce’s in-home newborn session here!
If you know someone expecting a baby this year, please send them my way! Now that I have my own little one (who is 8 months old now – crazy), I treasure in-home newborn photos more than ever. Those sweet little toes and sleepy snuggles won’t stay that way for long!
If you’re anything like me, you’re already thinking ahead to all the fun you’ll get into as stay-at-home orders start being lifted in the next couple months (hopefully – only if it’s the safe thing to do!). I’d love to help you with an effortless date with your significant other or a family fun day, captured by yours truly to remember forever! Buy a gift certificate now so you won’t even have to worry about payment later. Bonus – this helps my business during this slow season due to the coronavirus.
Thanks again, friends, and talk to you soon!
