Hello & Happy Friday!
It’s a cold, rainy, dreary day outside, so I’m glad I have a Christmas tree to gaze upon, a snuggly dog curled up under the tree, a sweet baby napping, and lovely photos to look at! All of these things warm my soul & I’m feeling extra thankful in this moment – despite the yucky weather outside.
Something else that makes me feel extra thankful: being called someone’s “family photographer”! You can read that as “photographer for life”! I love love love following people over time and capturing moment after moment for them, and I’m so thankful I’ve been able to do that for Jessica & Ben!
You can see the photos I’ve taken for Jess & Ben over time in this blog post – engagement photos, wedding photos, and maternity & newborn photos for their first son Hudson! (Don’t miss the cute sleeper they had Hudson in for the end of the session! Those ears!!) We’ve also done a mommy-son mini-session together since then, AND this fall I’ve gotten to celebrate with them as they welcome another son into the world through a fresh batch of maternity photos and newborn photos. It’s been really fun seeing little Hudson interact with his new baby brother!!
Jessica & Ben decided to treasure these moments as much as possible by investing in the New Life Collection. Since that includes maternity, newborn, 6-month, and 1-year photos, I’m already looking forward to our upcoming sessions! The photo book they receive at the end will be such a beautiful way to look back on baby Connor’s first year of life with photos from all four of these sessions.
Without further ado, here are their maternity photos!

In the next photo (on the right) Hudson looks SO excited to be a big brother! I love it!
They. are. so. sweet.
And if you didn’t already gather how gorgeous Jessica is… look how elegant she is in these photos! So beautiful, mama!
Jessica & Ben ordered the set of 10 prints that come with the New Life Collection, and I’m so excited to see how they’ve used them around their home sometime soon! These prints also make for wonderful gifts to friends & family – grandparents love them!
Thank you so much Jessica & Ben (I’ll see you again for our 6-month session before we know it! Ah!), and thanks to YOU for joining me on the blog today! I’ll be sharing baby Connor’s newborn photos soon & can hardly wait.
If you’ve got a little one joining your family next year, a wedding coming up, a graduation stage to walk across, or basically anything else to celebrate (even just celebrating life!)… please let me capture these moments for you! Start our conversation here and let’s make some memories together in 2020!
Thanks again, and talk to y’all soon!
